For the second consecutive year Bailey won the All Around title at the Kurt Thomas Invitational in Frisco, TX. She got the 2009 season off to a fantastic start with a great all around performance. Her results were:
Vault - 2nd with 9.45
Bars - 2nd with 9.45
Beam - 1st with 9.60
Floor - 1st with 9.725
All Around - 1st with 38.225
This was Bailey's second highest all around score ever. Her performance qualified her for the event finals on Sunday, January 11th. The top 4 scores per apparatus at Level 8, 9 and 10 qualified for the event finals. Bailey's 9.725 was the top floor score at Level 8 and got her in the finals!
